From March 5 to 19, 2009 the CEO Executive Martin Novák and the manager of Foundry and Forge Shops Ing. Roman Heide went to Japan. The official journey target was to rebuild interupted business relations and to make new contacts as acquisition and sales strategy of our company. One part of the travel plan was obtaining new information and experience in the way of working in the country with one of the most developed world economy.
Besides business activities, one part of the journey was to get some new experience in news of metallurgical production and to learn something about range of goods from subcontractors of technology and materials.
In fourteen days, they both travel through the large part of Japan to visit following companies: Kobe Steel, JCFC, JSW, Shinagawa Refractories, PILSEN STEEL have successfully been cooperating with them for long years. Next ones was companies: M.H.I, Mitsumi and Sojitz H.Q, from which we got a lot of inquiries. One of them was about the production of nuclear program’s component, especially steam generator. If this order come in through, PILSEN STEEL will come back in to the narrow circle of highly sophisticated firms in this subject.
